On Count.It, all Steps are equal.

It's great if you are adding extra effort to your walks by adding hills, weighted backpacks, or climbing the many, many NYC subway stairs on your daily work commute! That being said, on Count.It, "Steps" are reflected as the total number of steps taken regardless of running, incline, wind resistance, difficulty of terrain, etc.

In other words: on Count.It, a step is a step regardless of how it is taken, but all steps are steps in the right direction - your health and enjoyment (& your future winning placement on your group leaderboard!)
